Elephant Resource Management and Husbandry Workshop
Join us for this year’s Resource Management and Husbandry Workshop from 15 to 19 June.
A five-day mix of presentations, interactive session and Protected Contact elephant husbandry demonstrations will include topics such as
- PC definitions and facility design
- Programme delivery and long term goals
- Emergency elephant recovery planning and equipment
- Teeth tusks and tush management
- Scientific support capabilities
- Approach to footcare
During the week there will also be the opportunity to explore the zoo.
On the evening of 15 June, we will head into Chester City Centre for an Icebreaker meal that is included in the cost.
Ticket sales will close two weeks before the event on 31st May 2026.
