Please note: This is a keeper-led experience designed to give you an authentic glimpse into elephant care. For the wellbeing of the herd, there is no direct handling or physical contact.

Work alongside the keeping team as you use a hose to give the elephants a cooling spray. At the same time, you’ll hear how expert care at Chester Zoo is linked to global efforts to protect this endangered species.
