Madagascar Grasses
You might not think it but as far as plants go, the grasses family is probably the most valuable on the planet.
Wander through a sea of different shades of green and take in the various sizes, shapes and textures of the species found here. The grassy habitat is split into four sections, each containing different grasses from different parts of the world that are especially important to humans. There are food crops, sand dune grasses, bamboos and ornamental grasses. As you walk through Madagascar Grasses you’ll also uncover a small beach, water feature and a little hideaway right in the heart of the zoo.
