Africa’s vast and beautiful wild spaces - spanning tropical rainforests, sweeping savannas, deserts, and mountains - are home to an extraordinary diversity of species. However, African ecosystems and species face numerous and complex threats including habitat loss, climate change, growing human populations, unregulated hunting, wildlife trafficking, and poaching.
Chester Zoo plays a key role in the conservation of African wildlife. We're working with partners to save the Nubian giraffes, giant pangolins, black rhino and many more vulnerable African species from extinction.
Our work across East Africa is critical to the survival of endangered animals. If we don't act now, these species could be lost forever. Your support means that our teams on the ground can protect these precious species from the complex threats they face. We need your support to ensure their survival.
