Guest Guide
Guest Information: If you need any help or advice during your visit, our Admissions team is here to assist you with any questions to ensure you have a wonderful experience with us. The Admissions team can be found at the Ticket Information area at our main entrance.
Keeping you safe: To make sure your day is as safe, secure and enjoyable as possible we carry out bag searches. This may include a check of your bags, push chairs and personal belongings which will be conducted by our Security Team prior to entry.
First Aid: We have a dedicated team of First Aid Officers who are here to help you should you need assistance. Our First Aid post is located at the main entrance. Should you not be close to our main entrance, please ask any member of staff for help.
Guest Code of Conduct
Chester Zoo is dedicated to being a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
To ensure our team members, guests and members have an amazing day we ask that you follow the below guidelines:
- Please be courteous and kind. The use of abusive language, intimidating behaviour, or harassment will not be tolerated in person, online or over the phone.
- Please look after our zoo. We are home to over 37,000 animals and many more native wildlife species. We ask that you respect their home when you visit by not feeding or touching them.
- Please don’t smoke or vape except in our designated areas, which can be found on the zoo map or by downloading our app.
- Help us to protect our planet by recycling your waste in our designated bins.
- Please be safe when visiting by not entering or climbing into any unauthorised areas and keep a close eye on children in your care.
Chester Zoo reserves the right to deny admission, prevent entry, or require a person already admitted, to leave the zoo, without refund, liability, or compensation should someone not adhere to the above guidelines. For further information please see our terms and conditions.
